Conference “Tantae molis erat…” (November 18–19, 2016)

The conference is dedicated to the memory of Václav Dobruský (1858–1916), a tireless researcher of Bulgaria’s ancient monuments, first professor of archaeology, classical philology, epigraphy and numismatics at the Sofia University, and founder of the National Archaeological Museum.

The conference is organised by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Department of Classics at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, and is to be held at the National Archaeological Museum.
